So today we have been introduced to Illustrator, and what a fab program that is. Getting to grips with it is similar to Photoshop as off course they all come under the same brand also including flash and dreamweaver.
Our first little task was to design a logo for ourselves, which was interesting as when you are then presented with having to think up something new rather than just work on a given image you sit there staring at the blank screen thinking........and thinking....... See I am not naturally artistic, cant draw to save my life! So I did something simple in terms of fancy fontisim and whiskers for the 'Kat'. I was pleased with how it turned out but am hoping that in time I get better at designing!
Student loans now are all approved so that is a relief, so so far so good.
Due to other commitments I could not stay on for the second half of the day which is a shame as it was a task of designing a bank note, which I would have enjoyed, and benefited from But I can give that a go when my new whizz bang PC arrives and I install my software. So all is not lost.
